I have written copy for a range of clients from very different sectors. The portfolio below is a taster of just some of my work to date.
Disney UK: freelance content producer within the Disney UK Interactive team. Responsible for the Disney.co.uk homepage, content for seasonal events, including Disney Christmas and the launch of Star Wars: The Force Awakens and developing a tone of voice guide.
Yachting & Boating World: freelance content producer for Time Inc UK’s leading marine site, YBW.com. In this role, I wrote relevant new articles and features, built and implemented newsletters and scheduled social media posts.
Vodafone.com: Overhaul of content on Vodafone Group’s corporate site, Vodafone.com. Required new copy and creation of tone of voice guide.
UKTV Drama: Copy required to promote UKTV’s Drama channel, including a competition to win a smart television and home cinema system. Copy changed on a weekly basis, in order to promote various shows on Drama. This went on to become one of the most successful campaigns ever for Smooth online.
Smooth Christmas: Support pop-up festive radio station Smooth Christmas with online content - including gift guides, galleries, interactive quizzes.
Result: Microsite saw 1.2 million pageviews during the six weeks the station was on-air - the most successful online campaign from Smooth to date.
At Smooth Radio, I was responsible for generating relevant and highly-shareable online editorial content. Below are just three examples of the content that went on to be successful with the target audience.
Details: Write an article with the aim of ranking highly in search engines for term ‘Tom Jones songs’. Within two weeks, this article was ranking #1 in Google.
Details: Over 250,000 unique pageviews and was the most popular piece of shareable social content on Smooth Radio’s Facebook page for six consecutive weeks.
Result: Over 200,000 unique pageviews and highly shared content on Smooth Radio's Facebook and Twitter.
